The iconic entertainers were the biggest stars of the Rat Pack, and frequently headlined shows together in the 1950s and 60s.

This clip is from a performance on June 20th, 1965 in St. Louis, featuring the trio, along with Johnny Carson, an icon in his own right. Also on the stage leading the orchestra, but not shown is Quincy Jones who would produce some of Michael Jackson’s greatest hits in the 80s.

The multi-talented Sammy leads a performance of his hit “The Birth of the Blues” originally released in 1954.

These legendary performances by Frank, Sammy and Dean became the epitome of cool, blending music, comedy, and their trade mark charisma, making them timeless symbols of the twentieth century’s golden age of entertainment.
